Strength. The only route to Sentinel-2 L1C, which is what ACOLITE needs for publication-grade water reflectance.

Weakness. About 1 GB per scene, and ACOLITE processing is weeks of work for a multi-year archive.

Use it for. Use it only when you are ready to convert ordinal indices into calibrated concentrations.
