KNOWN LIMITATION

Landsat has NO red-edge band, so this is a weak substitute for NDCI. It is nonetheless the ONLY way to extend your algae record back to 2000. Be explicit about this limitation in any manuscript, and consider restricting formal inference to 2017-2026 with 2000-2016 as descriptive context.
